Alfie Dormand began writing his book The Monkeys That Stole A Bus after being inspired by a day out at Paignton Zoo. He even illustrated the book himself using a computer program to create colourful drawings to illustrate his imaginative tale. Through sales of his storybook on the Internet and donation through his Just Giving page, Alfie has raised over £1000 towards the costs of the new electric wheelchair, which would give him greater independence than his current manual (手动的) wheelchair.
