B Housework might seem tiring, but a Singapore-based team of researchers have suggested tasks like dusting, sweeping floors and washing the windows might help adults to stay healthy into old age. Writing in the journal BMJ Open, they said regular physical activity “improves physical and mental health, lowers the risks of chronic (慢性的)diseases, encourages motion and reduces falls, dependence and even the death rate among older adults”.
